Physical Therapist

Andrea Smith, PT, DPT, is a skilled physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah, where she graduated in 2006. With 18 years of clinical experience, Andrea specializes in dry needling and has spent the last 17 years working PRN at the University of Utah clinics. Her extensive background also includes experience in home health, providing well-rounded care for patients in various settings.

Andrea believes in a patient-centered, research-based approach to treatment. She takes a hands-on method to address the tissues responsible for pain or movement limitations. Her goal is to keep patients as active as possible, helping them return to sports and daily activities.

Outside of her practice, Andrea participates in multiple triathlons and running races each year. She also enjoys snow skiing and water skiing with her family. As a mother of four, her family life keeps her busy and active.
