What we want you to know:

We are specialists in sports medicine, joint surgery, fracture care, bone health and rehabilitation.

Our physicians treat patients ages 5 to adult with orthopedic injuries including fractures, joint and ligament tears, muscle and tendon ruptures, joint instability and joint arthritis. (We do not do spine surgery.) We see many professional, Olympic and recreational athletes.

We will "work you in" to our clinic schedules if you have an acute injury that needs immediate attention. Just call us and explain your situation. We can usually see you within 48 hours.

We are providers for most insurances including Selectmed and Selectmed+.

We will work with you to pay for your medical care. We know that orthopedic injuries are unexpected as well as the accompanying cost for insurance co-payments, deductibles and co-insurance. We have payment plans to meet your deductible and co-insurance. If you do not have insurance we can still create a payment plan for you.

Schedule an Appointment

All scheduling of appointments is done by our front office staff. To reach us during business hours 8:30- 5:00pm Mountain Standard Time, please call our main number 435-615-8822 to schedule an appointment.

After 5:00 PM on weekdays, weekends and holidays, you may leave us a message through our answering service. The doctor on call will be notified immediately and return your call if it is urgent. Otherwise, your call will be returned the next working day.

If you have an emergency, go to the nearest emergent care facility.

Payment Options & Insurance

Make sure to check your insurance information to identify if the doctor you are seeing at Heiden Orthopedics is a preferred provider and in-network for your policy.

Your insurance company requires us to collect your co-pay (for specialists) at the time of each visit.

If you do not have insurance, contact us, and we will provide you with the "self-pay" price.

Out-of-Town Patient Resources

Many patients come to be treated with Heiden Orthopedics from outside of Utah and from other countries. We have organized logistics to support coming to Park City or Salt Lake City for surgery. The arranged services include:

• Transportation
• Lodging
• Outpatient and inpatient surgical services
• “Home” or hotel based nursing
• “Home” or hotel based physical therapy
• Coordinated care with health care providers near your home
