Utah’s Spine Specialists
Orthopedic Spine Doctor and Back Pain Specialist
At Heiden Orthopedics, we know that living through the trauma of a back or spine injury can be painful and scary. The effect a serious back injury or spine condition can have on your life is considerable — which is why our back and spine specialists place a premium on getting you back to health as quickly and as safely as possible while addressing your acute or chronic pain.
Our Holistic Approach to Spine Injuries, Treatment, and Back and Spine Pain Management
Our spine surgeon and back pain doctor actively work with you to make sure you understand your injury and all of your treatment options. Whenever possible, our orthopedic spine specialists will opt to treat common back and spine injuries with non-surgical methods. However, some injuries and conditions do require surgery to ensure a full recovery.
Dr. Yonemura, our neurosurgeon who specializes in the neck and spine, and Dr. Reed, our pain management specialist who focuses on treating the root causes of back pain, are both dedicated to tailoring your care to help ensure the best long-term results.
Utah's Premier Orthopedic Back and Spine Surgeon
Dr. Kenneth Yonemura is a neurosurgeon who specialized in complex spine and peripheral nerve disorders. After completing his residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, he went on to complete a spinal surgery fellowship at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. Since then, Dr. Yonemura has been active in research, teaching and developing minimally-invasive techniques for the treatment of cervical and lumbar disc disease.
Salt Lake City's Top Spine Pain Doctor
Dr. Kristina Reed works with other providers to provide a comprehensive and individualized approach to back and spine pain management to address the root cause of your pain. This multidisciplinary approach to treating both chronic and acute back pain goes beyond the scope of generalized pain management.
